The Old Jewish Cemetery of Busk — New Discoveries

Dr. Lurie presented new findings that came to light during the cemetery restoration project undertaken by the Jewish Galicia and Bukovina Organization this past summer. Among the findings: elaborate headstones dating back to the early 16th century, some of which bear names of known figures from responsa literature, from the second generation of the sages of Poland onwards.
